Chasetown FC hoping cup disappointment won’t harm play-off hopes

Chasetown FC will hope once again that cup disappointment doesn’t derail their play-off push.

The Scholars lost out to old rivals Rushall Olympic in midweek, but are in sparkling league form which has seen them climb into the top ten.

But yet another tough test of their credentials awaits them tomorrow (February 22) as they travel to second placed Halesowen Town.

The hosts have their own ambitions, though, sitting just a point behind leaders Coalville Town and going into the game on a run of two draws and a win in their last three outings.

However, a win for Chasetown could move them to within three points of ninth placed Newcastle Town.

Kick-off tomorrow is at 3pm.
