Intrepid Lichfield and Burntwood residents are being invited to join a charity trek to Jordan.
Helen Relihan, the charity’s head of fundraising, said: “Our Petra trek is guaranteed to be the experience of a lifetime, offering a unique opportunity to see the famous ‘lost city’ at the same time as raising much-needed funds for our services for local people.
“This will be the third charity trek organised by the fundraising team here at St Giles and so far more than 70 people have taken part in our expeditions. We will be on hand to guide our trekkers through the fundraising process, their preparation for the trip and, of course, for the duration of their incredible challenge.”
Would-be trekkers can find out more at information sessions on March 26. They will take place at 3pm and 6.30pm at the hospice on Fisherwick Road in Whittington.
