The Independent Schools Association’s spring events saw Maple Hayes Dyslexia School;’s 12 year-old student Emma Harris win bronze in the freestyle swimming relay at the national championships, while Alex Blackham, 15, bagged first place in the Midland Under 16 boys cross country.
Headteacher Dr Daryl Brown said: “It’s great to see our pupils doing so well both in and out of the classroom and we’re very proud that this talented duo chose to fly the flag for our school – with fantastic results.”
