People in Lichfield and Burntwood have been remembering the life of Stephen Sutton.
Thousands visited Lichfield Cathedral where his coffin lay before a private family funeral earlier today (May 30).
And at 11am, people across the country joined in a ‘thumbs up’ for the 19-year-old.
The signal became a logo for Stephen who posted a picture of himself with his thumbs raised in the weeks before his death.
Staff at the Tesco store in Lichfield were among those who stopped to mark the 11am vigil – and were joined by people across the world.
His campaign has so far seen him raise more than £4million for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
People can continue to donate via the JustGiving page.
