Families in Lichfield and Burntwood will be given a helping hand to keep youngsters entertained during the summer holiday.
Bug hunting, gymnastics, swimming and drama are just some of the activities featured in the new summer holiday fun programme launched by Lichfield District Council.
There will also be roller skating sessions, tennis coaching, teddy bear games and a holiday club across the council’s three leisure centres.
Councillor Andy Smith said: “Our summer holiday fun programme offers children and young people a great range of activities.
“Places book up early, so we’re reminding families to make sure they take a look at the programme and book as soon as they can.”
The council is sending out the programmes to local schools and the booklets are also available at Burntwood, Friary Grange and King Edward VI leisure centres and at Beacon Park.
