The orgainers of the the Fuse festival in Lichfield have hailed the event as a success.
Crowds turned out in Beacon Park for a weekend of music, dance, comedy, storytelling and craft.
Bands including SN Dubstation, The Born Again Beatles, Stubblemelt and The Sleaze Brothers kept visitors entertained, along with Wildfire Folk and Blast Off – two groups launched and supported by Fuse organisers Lichfield Arts.
The weekend also saw a special presentation made to outgoing director Dave Simcox.
Lichfield Arts president Brian Pretty said: “We are very sorry that Dave is leaving – he has organised a fantastic Fuse this year.
“Everyone in the organisation wishes him every success in the future. We are now working to do the challenging task of replacing Dave and are looking to recruit a commercial operations manager and artistic programme co-ordinator.”
