A treat is being brewed up for Lichfield beer aficionados. The Lichfield Arts Autumn Beer Festival is coming to the city on September 26 and 27. Ales on offer will include Timothy Taylor’s Boltmaker, the Gold Award winning entry at this year’s Beer of Britain Festival, and also the Silver and Bronze winners at the same event. There will also be music from the likes of The Born Again Beatles and Knoxville Highway. Bar manager Lynne Tyler said: “The Autumn Beer Festival is a highlight of our early Autumn season and we always do well, attracting large numbers of people who like quality real ales as well as live music.” Tickets for the festival will be available on the door at the Lichfield Guildhall for £2 each day before 6pm and £3 afterwards.
