Shenstone Pathfinder have cemented their place among the front-runners in the league with a 1-0 win over AFC Ludlow. The victory saw Paths climb to fourth in Division One of the West Midlands Regional League after an Adam Wall goal. But Shenstone also had goalkeeper John Miller to thank after he kept out a second half penalty. Paths will be favourites to continue their climb up the table when they entertain struggling Wem Town on Saturday (October 4). The visitors have failed to register a point from their opening five league games this season.
