Youngsters try out the new swing at Chasewater Country Park
Young visitors to Chasewater Country Park are getting the chance to try out a new set of swings. County councillors Sue Woodward and Jeff Sheriff have funded the swings as part of the a revamp of the play area via the Local Community Fund. Cllr Woodward said: “I’m really happy to support and be part of the development of Chasewater. “Having lived in the Burntwood area for most of my life, I know how important the Park is to local people and I’m keen to work with the local community to develop the site. “The Staffordshire Local Community Fund has been running for several years and I’ve been pleased to have supported many initiatives in the local area.”
