Police have released CCTV men of a group of men who attacked a teenager on a train from Lichfield.
The 16-year-old was on the cross-city line service at around 10.30pm on November 21 when the incident happened.
Detective Constable Natalie Davies said: “The victim was travelling on board a London Midland service when a group of four men in their late teens to early twenties boarded the train at Lichfield City station.
“They approached the victim and robbed him of his mobile phone, his bus pass and a small amount of money while also subjecting him to a barrage of punches and kicks.
“The four men got off the train at Sutton Coldfield station but were seen on CCTV at Birmingham New Street station later the same evening.
“I am very keen to speak with the men in these CCTV images, as I believe they will have key information. If you recognise any of the men, or have any other information which could help the investigation, please get in touch.”
