On January 6, Matthew Ellis will be at Tesco on Church Street at 2pm and Morrisons on Beacon Street at 3pm.

The visits are part of his Let’s Talk initiative, which gives people the chance to discuss issues and experiences with him directly.

Commissioner Ellis said: “This is a great opportunity to find out what people in Lichfield and the surrounding areas have to say. I want to hear what people’s experiences are of policing and the criminal justice system.

“How could things be done better to make sure the system fits the needs of people rather than people having to fit the system?

“These events give local people a chance to shape the future of policing and the criminal justice services for us all.”

What a shame these events are held when the vast majority of people are at work.
I have been trying to get the pcc to “listen” to me since May 2014!
