Spring bulbs are being planted in Chase Terrace Park, thanks to a £200 donation by Cllr Sue Woodward through the Staffordshire Local Community Fund.

More than 1,500 bulbs have been purchased to ensure the area blooms in spring when English bluebells, snowdrops, daffodils and crocuses come into bloom.

Volunteers are being asked to join the planting session from 11am to 1pm on January 24.

Cllr Woodward said: “More than 25 people joined in the last bulb planting day and I hope plenty of volunteers with once again roll up their sleeves to help improve this fantastic local park.”
