Chasetown FC are on the lookout for a new manager after the departure of Craig Harris.
A defeat to Coalville led to the axe falling on the club;s former player and captain who stepped up to the hotseat at the end of the 2011-22.
A mid-table finish followed the season after but was tempered by winning the Walsall Senior Cup.
But the writing was on the wall after a run of just two victories in the last 17 league games.
A statement from Chasetown FC said: “The management committee at the club would like to place on record their sincere thanks to Craig for all his hard work and commitment, and would like to wish him all the best for the future.
“However, the club feel that a change of manager and direction is necessary at this time, as they search to position themselves for a promotion challenge once again.
“The club will look to appoint a new manager as soon as possible.”
