A Shadow Minister has visited Lichfield to support his party’s local Parliamentary candidate.
John Spellar MP with Chris Worsey outside the Jigsaw Community Hub
Labour’s John Spellar MP, the Shadow Minister at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, joined Chris Worsey for a visit to the Jigsaw Community Hub on Dimbles Lane. Mr Spellar said: “I was glad to come over to support Chris. I know that he has been a brilliant councillor on Sandwell Council by being a strong local voice and by doing great work around youth unemployment. “He’ll make a great MP for Lichfield.” Mr Worsey said he was keen to showcase the work carried out at the Jigsaw Community Hub. “It was a pleasure to show John around,” he said. “They are an inspiring local group doing really valuable work in the community. “We had a good discussion about the policies they would like to see a Labour government deliver on and how this would help them and others in the local community.”
