A dramatic finale secured an unlikely point for Lichfield City FC against Studley.

The Brownsfield Park side got off to the worst possible start, finding themselves two goals down inside the opening quarter of an hour.

Their task wasn’t made any simpler when they failed to halve the deficit before the break after Lee Osborne missed a penalty.

But the second period started more positively than the first as Liam Holt headed them back into the game.

A third goal for Studley appeared to kill off any hopes of a Lichfield revival, but Kyle Minto had other ideas as he finished off good work by Mark Rose to make it 3-2 with a quarter of an hour still to play.

City pushed for an equaliser and got their reward in the final minute as Louis Downes pulled his side level.

Lichfield are back in action on Saturday (April 11) when they travel to Southam United.
