The former Tamworth boss will look to round off a tough season for the Scholars by lifting the Walsall Senior Cup.

Law has guided Chasetown to a mid-table finish in the league after replacing Craig Harris in January.

But he’ll need to stop a mini-rot of four defeats in a row when his side take on Walsall on their own patch, although their latest loss against Kidsgrove saw the Scholars field a youthful line-up with many of the senior players rested for tonight’s encounter.

Should Chasetown collect their fourth Walsall Senior Cup in sixth finals, Law will add his name to the list of three other bosses – his predecessor Harris, Charlie Blakemore and Mervyn Rowe – to have brought the trophy back to The Scholars Ground.

The game kicks off at 7.30pm at the Banks’ Stadium.
