A sponsored walk in Lichfield will raise money for a local charity supporting victims of domestic violence.

The Pathway Project will host the one-mile event at noon on June 27. Kathy Coe, director of the Pathway Project, said: “This is a chance for everyone to take a stand against physical and emotional abuse in the home. “Domestic abuse can happen to anyone, and Pathway supports males, females, adults and children, and we look forward to welcoming all to this event.” Activities will take place outside the Guildhall from 11am on the day, including face painting, before the sponsored walk sets off at 12noon. It costs £5 to take part, with participants also encouraged to get sponsorship for the walk.
