The chairman of Armitage with Handsacre Parish Council says there is a clear vision for the next four years.
Cllr Richard Cox – who also serves as one of the area’s representatives on Lichfield District Council – added that he was honoured to be selected for the role of chairman for the coming year.
And he predicted a busy time for the parish council in this election cycle.
“I am looking forward to the year ahead as chairman of Armitage with Handsacre Parish Council, serving all of the residents of the parish to the best of my ability.
“I consider it a real honour to be chairman and am very thankful in the first instance to the village residents returning me to Parish Council and I thank my fellow councillors having the trust in being elected as chairman.
“We have an agenda of projects to implement within the next four years, including improvements to Swan Bank and replacing childrens play equipment in the Upper Lodge Rd open space.”
Eric Jackson was named the parish council’s vice-chairman.
