Organiser Lee Storey says he hopes this year’s event will continue the success of last year.

“We were completely overwhelmed last year as the festival sold out,” he said. “Early sales are ahead of last year’s and we’re incredibly excited.

“We’ve been working tirelessly all year to scout and confirm five super-talented local bands to support our tributes and we’re pretty sure everyone will be blown away with the quality of music we’ll be showcasing.”

Early bird tickets are on sale until July 15 and are priced at £16.50 adults, £9 for young people aged 10 to 17 or £42 for a family of four.

“The whole essence of a Fake Festival is to bring an incredible festival vibe to the heart of thriving communities while at the same time supporting other local businesses and traders,” Lee added. “Our plan is to make the experience accessible to everyone in the region by having annual festivals in safe and easy to get to areas.”

Tickets can be purchased online.
