A talk in Alrewas is set to shine the spotlight on a memorial dedicated to the work of firefighters.

The National Memorial Arboretum will host the event on July 30.

A spokesperson said: “Join us to learn about the stories and symbolism behind The Fire and Rescue Service memorial in our grounds which recognises the qualities of fire and rescue personal, past and present, who serve the communities of our nation.”

Admission is £3 per person in advance or £4 on the day. The talk takes place at 2pm and lasts around 45 minutes. For more information, visit the National Memorial Arboretum website.
