The local Women’s Institute (WI) branch invited Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Ellis to discuss his plans to tackle reoffending and use technology to free up front-line officers.

Gwyneth Howells, president of Burntwood WI, said: “You could tell by the quietness in the hall just how well received and informative the talk was.

“It has given us all a great insight into the work of the Staffordshire Police and Crime Commissioner – what’s going on, what’s happening and what is being achieved.”
