Parents of children at St Joseph and St Theresa Primary School will get a discount at cutlery firm Arthur Price’s factory shop. The saving will then be given to the school fund. The link-up began when the school’s head teacher spoke to Arthur Price factory shop manager Bev Shepherd about the fundraising efforts. It is now hoped at least £1,000 will be raised by the end of the year. Head teacher Pat Davies said: “It’s a win-win situation for us all. Our parents will be able to buy fantastic cutlery and gifts from a local company at discounted prices, and the school will reap the benefits as it will be another source of income to help us fulfil our desire to improve the experience of our children.”
