Christopher Addey serves up a Pimms for Alex Brandreth from Tamworth and Susanne Poole from Sutton Coldfield

Thousands packed into the streets of the city to celebrate the Lichfield Food Festival.

Tasty treats from across the globe were on offer at venues across the city, including the Three Spires Shopping Centre which hosted craft workshops, served up free Pimms and showcased a range of cuisine.

Bakers Lane played host to children’s craft workshops, free Pimms for adults plus an array of foodie stalls from all over the region.

The centre’s manager, Lisa Prokopiou, said: “The food festival is a much-loved highlight of Lichfield’s calendar so we are thrilled to support it with a street party.

“This year we were blessed by exceptionally good weather so it’s been bigger than ever.

“We’re so pleased for our own street party team and everyone involved who puts such hard work into organising the festival.”
