Retired police dogs have benefited from a fundraising event at Chasewater.

Owners and their four-legged friends took on either a 5km or 10km course.

More than 170 runners and 80 pooches took part in the Big Dog Jog which helped raise money for the Staffordshire Retired Police Dog Fund.

Among those who took part was Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Arnold, who was joined by her dog Jackie.

She said: “It was fantastic to take part in such a well organised and supported event for such a worthy cause.”
