A UKIP councillor says he is finding his feet at Lichfield District Council.

John Mills won a seat in the Fazeley ward after beating Labour’s Glen Mynott by just six votes earlier this year.
He admits that he initially found the role challenging, but said he was honoured to have been given the chance to represent the area.
“I am really enjoying being a councillor,” he said.
“I finally feel I know what I am supposed to be doing. In the beginning I felt like a fish out of water.
“But it is such an honour to represent the people I live by.”
