The Lichfield Players are bringing David Tristram’s Hypnosis to the Garrick – and have received the seal of approval from the writer himself.
The show will be at the theatre’s studio from October 20 to 24 and will be directed by Maureen George.
“I was delighted to learn that Lichfield Players had chosen Hypnosis as their next production,” Davis said. “There are over a thousand performances of my plays every year all over the world, but local productions are always special – not least because I get the chance to go and see them.
“In Hypnosis, the Lichfield Players have chosen something rather unusual – a bit of a hidden gem.
“If you like your comedies tinged with a touch of genuine intrigue, magic and thriller menace, and a plot with more twists than a buckled slinky, then this is the play for you.
“I challenge the audience to work out exactly what is going on and how it’s all going to end, right until the final curtain. It sometimes surprises even me – and I wrote it!”
