Free art workshops are coming to Lichfield city centre.

The sessions will take place between 10am and 4pm on October 24 as part of The Big Draw international festival of drawing.
This year’s theme is Every Drawing Tells a Story and will see children and adults making artwork that celebrates storytelling.
Councillor Helen Fisher said: “Getting involved in The Big Draw is a fantastic way to get the country drawing and creating art.
“The activities in Lichfield offer locals and visitors alike the chance to try different art techniques for free and we hope plenty of people of all ages will get involved.”
Two artists will be at the Three Spires Shopping Centre and another will be stationed at Speakers’ Corner on Dam Street.
Illustrator and animator Francis Lowe will be running a Witches, Woods and Riding Hoods workshop which will see people creating new stories and characters using illustration, animation and comic book art.
Danielle Phelps will be running a Match Box Art workshop, while Lisa Broughton will ask passing shoppers to help create a large map of Lichfield.
