Lichfield’s MP went through the looking glass for an Alice in Wonderland-themed event at Lichfield Library.

A Mad Hatter’s Tea Party had been created as part of the Lichfield Literature Festival, while artist Roselyn Barks worked with children fro St Chad’s, St Joseph’s and Scotch Orchard Primary Schools to create art celebrating 150 years of Lewis Carroll’s iconic book.
“The children did a fantastic job,” said Lichfield MP Michael Fabricant. “The exhibition remained open for three days for people to come in and see the artwork and eat Mad Hatter cakes.
“It’s great to see children being given the opportunity to access high quality art activities – and because it’s taken place in the library, we were all able to come and share in the excitement as well.”
