Hundreds of people visited Lichfield Cathedral for Staffordshire and Rescue Service’s annual Family Festival of Carols.
The concert featured a nativity play performed by local children and carols from the Lichfield Cathedral Chamber Choir.
Chief Fire Officer Peter Dartford said: “As ever, the Family Festival of Carols was a wonderful start to the Christmas period and was enjoyed by all who attended it.
“It is a truly magical evening where the meaning of Christmas is celebrated and embraced. There was a lovely mixture of ages, from tiny babies to grandparents, which created a family atmosphere.”
