A new fit club is launching in Lichfield to help people lose weight and stay healthy in 2016.
The initiative launches at Friary Grange Leisure Centre at 5.15pm on January 13.
Two instructors will lead fortnightly weigh-ins and body measurements, as well as weekly workouts featuring press ups, squats and hula hooping.
The sessions will also include nutrition and healthy eating advice.
Councillor Andy Smith, Cabinet member for leisure at Lichfield District Council, said: “This class will offer participants the chance to start 2016 with a clear health and fitness goal in view.
“It’s a great way to kick start a healthier routine with weekly support and workouts.”
The Friary Fit Club costs £44 for 11 sessions if booked by December 31, or £55 if booked afterwards.
