A former naval nurse has celebrated two years of her Lichfield business with a giveaway. Sally Wagstaff, from Kings Bromley, set up the Xodos Aesthetics laser hair removal clinic at Curborough in 2014. To celebrate the anniversary she ran a competition to offer one bride-to-be the chance to win free treatments.

The winner was 25-year-old Jessica Paling, from Burton, who will get married in September. Jessica and her three bridesmaids won a champagne and cupcakes pampering afternoon and will return for full treatments later in the year. Sally said: “I love making a difference to peoples’ lives, and what better time to make a difference than for a wedding?”
