A Lichfield community building is throwing open its doors to show local residents what it has to offer. The ‘icebreaker’ event takes place from 4pm to 6pm on January 30 at Curborough Community Centre. A spokesperson for the centre said: “We want to give people in Lichfield the opportunity to find out about the fantastic range of clubs, activities and events that already take place at Curborough Community Centre, but also to hear their views and ideas about what else they’d like to see happening here.” Entry to the event is free and there will also be a tombola, stalls, refreshments and children’s activities. For more information contact the centre’s manager Kim Wilkins on 01543 417 149 or email
