Lichfield passengers have endured a day of disruption due to signalling problems and a broken down train.
Services were hit when a London Midland train broke down on the cross city line.
It followed earlier signalling problems on the route which meant trains were delayed or cancelled in and out of Lichfield City and Lichfield Trent Valley stations.
UPDATE: The failed train has been rescued and the northbound line has reopened. #CrossCity disruption is ongoing. https://t.co/BO58uBJArT
