Puppetry and multimedia will combine for a new show as part of the Garrick Introducing season in Lichfield.
Award-winning company Tortoise in a Nutshell will create an entire world in front of the audience when they bring Feral to the city theatre on April 16.
A spokesperson for the Garrick said: “With barely a word spoken, Joe looks back at his childhood home and traces its journey from idyllic seaside town to community gripped by anarchy.
“He looks back at the town of his childhood – bright, vibrant and idyllic, the world resembles a haven of comfort. But as the walls are peeled back, the story of a community’s fall unfolds around him.
“Winner of a Scotsman Fringe First and Nominee for a Total Theatre Award, Feral was one of the most successful original productions at the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Since then it has toured to critical acclaim throughout the UK and Europe.”
The show is aimed at adults and young people aged over 14. Tickets cost £15, and can be booked by calling 01543 412121 or visiting www.lichfieldgarrick.com.
