The final touches are being put on a new production by the Lichfield Players.
They bring Marc Camoletti farce Don’t Dress for Dinner to the stage at the Garrick from April 19 to 23.
The show follows Bernard who plans a romantic weekend with his mistress at his country house just outside Paris. As a cover, he invites best friend Robert to join him. But then wife Jacqueline cancels her plans because she hears her secret lover Robert is spending the weekend.
Director Jim Worrallo said: “The sheer pace and comedy were fundamental in our choosing this hilarious sitcom style play.
“We are performing a brilliant piece of entertainment that will appeal to the whole family and we are excited about the performances.”
Jim was also foull of praise for the cast, which includes two new members.
“One of the great aspects of the Lichfield Players is the provision of an artistic platform and opportunities for people new to the society as well as our well-known local actors and actresses,” he said.
Tickets are available by calling the box office on 01543 412121 or visiting the Lichfield Players website.
