A new memorial dedicated to organ and tissue donors has been unveiled in Alrewas.
The Duke of Gloucester was present at the ceremony for the Gift of Life Memorial.
The butterfly design was created by artist Julia Hennessy Priest after fundraising from the Donor Family Network.
A spokesperson said: “The memorial will pay tribute to the donors and their families who have made the gift of life possible, recipients of transplants, those waiting for a transplant and those whose wishes to donate could not be fulfilled.”
