CBeebies star Rebecca Keatley has been confirmed as the star of this year’s Lichfield Garrick pantomime.
The star of Let’s Play and Time for School will play Princess Moonbeam in Sleping Beauty later this year.
“I’m delighted to be spending the festive season in Lichfield,” she said. “I’m looking forward to spreading some fairy magic at the Lichfield Garrick and taking part in this spellbinding Christmas pantomime.”

Joining Rebecca is local actor Sam Rabone who joins the cast as Lichfield’s new dame.
He has previously performed as Nurse Nellie in Yeovil’s production of Sleeping Beauty last year.
“I’m over the moon to play the dame at the Lichfield Garrick,” he said. “Having travelled the country from Scotland to Somerset, Lichfield is only a stone’s throw away from my home town of Sutton Coldfield.
“People of Lichfield be prepared to see a show with more laughter than ever before!”
Sleeping Beauty is the first pantomime at the Garrick to be co-produced with TV presenter Paul Henley’s company, Evolution Productions.
Paul said: “We are absolutely thrilled that Rebecca Keatley and Sam Rabone have agreed to appear in Sleeping Beauty.
“Rebecca is immensely popular with young children. She is funny, quirky and loveable – the perfect fairy.
“Sam is undoubtedly one of the best dames in the country and, as a local boy, we know the Lichfield audiences are going to love him.”
Sleeping Beauty runs from December 1 to 31. For ticket prices and times visit www.lichfieldgarrick.com or call the box office on 01543 412121.
