A traditional Victorian May Day celebration will take place in Lichfield.
Museum Gardens will host the event between 11am and 3pm on May 2.
The celebrations will include maypole dancing, a Victorian craft activity, and a range of traditional games, including a coconut shy.
There will also be a free 30-minute Punch and Judy show at 12.30pm.
Councillor Andy Smith, Cabinet member for leisure and parks at Lichfield District Council, said: “What a perfect way to celebrate May Day, visiting a picturesque park in the heart of the city and taking part in, or simply watching, the traditional activities, such as dancing round the maypole and a Punch and Judy show.”
Entry to the event is free but there will be a charge for some of the activities.
