James Dance has committed his future to Chasetown FC for another season – and has already set his sights on promotion.
The former Stafford Rangers man bagged 11 goals in his first campaign with the club including a memorable overhead kick in a 2-1 win away at Romulus.
Dance also had a stint at centre half during the season, but it was his hard running and eye for goal which made him an instant hit amongst supporters.
And the 29-year-old believes there is more to come from him and the rest of the Dave Stringer’s squad.
He said: “Ive enjoyed my first season here and I get on well with the gaffer and all of the lads.
“To only just miss out on the play-off’s after a slow start to the season shows that we’ve built a team capable of winning promotion next year.”
