Talented Burntwood youngsters could benefit from a bursary scheme set up in memory of Stephen Sutton.
Funding of up to £2,000 is available to help develop local talent in areas such as art, acting, music, dance and sport.
A spokesperson for Burntwood Town Council said: “The scheme is intended to help fund additional opportunities and can be used for a variety of projects including, for example, purchasing specialist equipment or clothing, research projects, extra tuition or coaching, competition fees and travel.”
Applications should be submitted by September 30. Application forms can be collected from the council’s office at The Old Mining College Centre or downloaded from www.burntwood-tc.gov.uk.
