New bunting has been put up to give Lichfield city centre a brighter look over the summer.
The new bunting outside the Lichfield Guildhall
Funded by local businesses through the Lichfield Business Improvement District (BID), the bunting is up in time for a number of events due to take place over the coming months. Paul Maddox, Chairman of Lichfield BID, said: “With so many fantastic things taking place in Lichfield this summer, such as the Lichfield Festival and Lichfield Food Festival, we felt it was important to refresh our decorations and make our city centre welcoming. “Lichfield BID has pledged to pay for the new bunting this year and for costs of putting it up every year over the next four years of our term.”

  1. The BID continues to provide great cost savings for LDC/LCC while no decrease in business rates. Oh, and indies are forced to pay an extra BID levy for the privilege of its existence. Ace
