Charity offers free sessions on impact of hearing loss to groups in Lichfield

Groups in Lichfield are being invited to take advantage of a session on the impact of hearing loss.

Estimates from Action on Hearing Loss suggest more than 20,000 people in the district could be impacted by some sort of hearing impairment.

The charity has now been given fundign to run awareness sessions and wants to hear from organisations that feel they may benefit from such talks.

A spokesperson said: “In the sessions, for which there is no charge, we will provide advice and information on managing hearing loss as well as basic hearing checks for anyone concerned about their hearing.

“We are also looking for venues, such as village halls, community centres etc, that we could use to run sessions open to the community.”
