Organisers have hailed the 2017 Lichfield Winter Beer Festival as “a great success”.
The event saw more than 700 visitors enjoy tipples and live music at the Guildhall.
A spokesperson said: “It was so popular that the beer just about lasted – with more than 30 real ales almost selling out.
“Everyone enjoyed not just fine beer but fine company in the splendid Lichfield Guildhall.”

Winter Festival eh?
Really needs a snappy one-word title.

What did you have in mind Rob? Because “Christmas” would be entirely appropriate for a beer festival held at the end of January, wouldn’t it?

“Winterval” always seems a popular choice.

You’re right AA, I was desperately trying to think of an alternative to Christmas without any luck, but, lo and behold, I reckon Scribbler’s gone and nailed it!
