Commuters are being warned of potential travel delays as Storm Doris sweeps in.
London Midland has told passengers high winds could force its trains to travel at a reduced speed from 10am.
Storm Doris is expected to bring winds of more than 60mph to the Midlands during the day.
A spokesperson for London Midland said: “We are currently working closely with Network Rail, the Met Office and other train operating companies to monitor the progress of the storm and understand how this may affect train services.
“In order to maintain a safe environment through potentially difficult weather conditions, our trains may have to run at a slower speed.
“This may mean longer journey times and a number of residual delays and cancellations to services.”
