Drone captures bird’s eye view of construction work on new Lichfield warehouse

A unique view of a new warehouse development in Lichfield has been released.

The drone footage of the new Screwfix depot at Fradley shows the steel frame construction being erected.

The new 562,000 sq ft warehouse will create around 200 jobs.

Martin Lee, supply chain and logistics director at Screwfix, said: “The decision to construct a warehouse near Lichfield was taken to ensure we have the logistics infrastructure to support the needs of our expanding business.

“We will initially be recruiting 200 new warehouse colleagues and drivers and the number of roles required will grow to 700 to support its growth plan, representing a significant employment opportunity for the local community.”

In the planning application is there a condition on what roads they are supposed to use in supplying the warehouse?
