Author’s new ghost book raises money for Burntwood charity

A new book is raising money for a Burntwood charity.

Credible Witness – Paranormal Police Stories by Andy Gilbert features tales from around the Midlands.

The author, who is a retired police inspector, donates all royalties from sales of his books to charity, with his latest work benefitting Cherry Orchard Garden Services.

Mr Gilbert, who lives in Tamworth, said: “This book is a collection of true accounts of police-related paranormal incidents.

“It is the first book of its kind in the UK and looks at the dilemma facing people on whether or not to report unexplained incidents when their professional reputation is at stake.

“There is a reluctance to talk about the subject in the police, so I was delighted to be able to gather together such compelling first-hand accounts from throughout the Midlands and beyond.

“After reading the book, even the most hardened sceptic may have to think again.”

The book is available from Amazon or Lulu.com. for £5.99.
