Two choirs have won the chance to sing alongside Aled Jones at Lichfield Cathedral.

The singer and TV presenter will be in the city on May 9 as part of a UK tour.
As part of the visit, local choirs were invited to put themselves forward – and the Small Schools Multi Academy Trust Choir, which includes schools in Elford, Colton and Kings Bromley, and the St Alphege Choir from Solihull got the nod.
Aled said: “I’m really excited about hitting the road again and singing in the fabulous Lichfield Cathedral with these choirs.
“There was an overwhelming number that applied and it was a tough decision to pick just two. I’m really looking forward to performing with them and sure it will be a great night for all.”
Tickets for the concert in Lichfield are available online.
