Chasetown FC have named Scott Dundas as the club’s new manager. The former Newcastle Town boss will replace Dave Stringer, who resigned earlier this month. A spokesperson for The Scholars said: “Scott was selected ahead of a strong list of candidates. “He has a strong track record and his ambitions match that of the club in building a squad to compete for promotion in the coming season.” The former Witton Albion and Alsager Town boss made his name in management after steering Norton United to two promotions in three years and taking the club to the first round of the FA Cup. He also saw Newcastle finish seventh in the league last season.
