Lichfield and Burntwood 2017 General Election vote sees turnout figure rise to 72.1%

The General Election voter turnout across Lichfield and Burntwood has gone up.

The number of people who voted was 53,674 of the 74,430 residents eligible to, meaning 72.1% of those who could went to the ballot box across the district.

That number is up from the 69.3% figure at the 2015 General Election.
