A van driver has had a lucky escape after his van overturned on the M6 Toll near Lichfield.
Ambulance crews were called to the northbound carriageway between junctions five and six at 7.55am today (July 24).
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The van had rolled numerous times before coming to rest on its roof.
“The driver, a man in his 50s, was out of the vehicle and fully conscious. He was assessed by ambulance crews and treated for minor neck and knee injuries before being taken to Walsall Manor Hospital.
“Considering the van has rolled on a motorway at one of the busiest times of the day, the man appears to be incredibly fortunate to have avoided serious injury and to have avoided colliding with any other vehicles.”
